If your Ring doorbell is connected directly to power through wiring, you need to cross check its power supply.

Normally, Ring devices operate with a Wi-Fi connection of 2.4 GHz. They do not work with a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network because they are not equipped with the necessary hardware. 

If you have changed to a Wi-Fi router with a connection length of 5 GHz, it is the fundamental problem.
